[Super Sol Construction Case] Example of Ground Subsurface Drainage Work

This is a case study of the renovation work on the grounds of Jonan Junior High School in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture.

We would like to introduce a case study of the construction using "Super Sol," an artificial lightweight material made from crushed and sintered waste glass. This example pertains to the installation of subsurface drainage in a schoolyard with poor drainage at a public junior high school. Super Sol was used to fill the subsurface drainage trenches, improving drainage performance. Typically, crushed stone is used around conventional drainage pipes, but Super Sol is lightweight, making it easier to work with and reducing the load on the drainage pipes.
